Course Description
This course is directed to anyone involved in parish and school catechesis. These sessions introduce the participant to the role of catechesis within the totality of the Church’s mission of evangelization. It discusses catechesis as a form of the ministry of the word that deepens faith, doing so through instruction and an apprenticeship in the Christian life. This course examines the key elements that make up catechesis, including doctrinal content, divine pedagogy, catechetical methodology and the role of the catechist.
