Course Description

Our Faith is historical to the core – the Son of God was born of a woman in time, the resurrection is a historical event – and the Church herself exists in time, even as she looks forward to eternity. Knowledge of her history is essential in just the same way as knowledge of our own history makes us who we are. This class will develop our appreciation for Church history and provide a groundwork for future study. The first course will cover roughly the first millennium and the second course will cover the second millennium. They may be taken individually or in sequence.

Hours of Instruction: 6
